If your patient wishes to be seen as soon as possible, please address the referral to "Intuition Private", or "Gynaecologist" and we will triage appropriately.
This way we can efficiently triage your patient’s referral and ensure they are seen in a timely manner. We happily accommodate all urgent referrals for same day or same week, please highlight this when sending. We accept referrals via Secure Messaging, Email and Fax.
Once we receive the referral, our support team will assist your patient with making an appointment. Please advise your patient if they have not heard from us within 3 business after their referral has been sent over, to call the clinic on (02) 4321 0500.

New Day Surgery Services Now Available at Gosford Specialist Day Hospital
Intuition Private is now providing day surgery services at Gosford Specialist Day Hospital, conveniently located on Henry Parry Drive in Gosford.
This expansion allows us to provide faster access to gynaecological procedures in a setting that offers shorter admission waiting times and at lower costs for self-funded patients, when compared to other options.

Yes, absolutely. If you would like your patient to see a specific doctor(s) at Intuition Private, please address your referral by name. We also accept referrals Australia-wide, so long as it is addressed to an O&G Specialist. If it is your patient’s priority to be seen as soon as possible, please address your referral to @Intuition Private or “Gynaecologist.”
Please highlight the urgency on your referral, or call us on 02 4321 0500 so we can accommodate your urgent referral request as soon as possible. At Intuition Private, we will ensure all urgent patient matters are seen to as a priority and can offer same day, or same week appointments.

Yes Dr Skilbeck, Dr Mandapati, Dr Manning and Dr Hankins’ patients can be consented at our private clinic to have surgery at Gosford Public Hospital, if this is their preference.
Consulting privately often benefits the patient to minimise the wait time currently experienced at Gosford Public Hospital for their initial assessment and triage.
Please note, upon submission of the Consent for Surgery Form to Gosford Public Hospital, your patient will be placed on the public waiting list in accordance with the appropriate recommended time frame as advised by the doctor. Our doctors may perform the surgery for the patient, however due to operational matters and length of waitlists through the public health system, this is not always possible and therefore not guaranteed.
No, generally not. Intuition Private is a full-service private clinic with expert doctors and state-of-the-art technology, offering an exceptional patient experience each and every time therefore there is an out of pocket expense associated with most consultations and procedures.
Intuition Private does however honour all DVA Veteran Affairs patient entitlements.
