In obstetrics, gynaecology, and ultrasound there is nothing truer than the old adage of repetition and high case-volumes leading to mastery. At Intuition Private, each specialist has their own area of expertise, based in scientific evidence and clinical experience that they have pioneered over their careers, with the goal of translating that experience into superior patient health outcomes.
Pre-Pregnancy & Fertility
Preparing for a pregnancy can be an exciting time, however unlike some things in life, it can take planning as starting a family does not always ‘just happen’. Intuition Private has significant experience in helping prospective parents optimise their health and where needed, in providing medical support to help you conceive. If IVF is your next step, we have a quality referral system with our partnered clinics to support your fertility journey.
Pregnancy
Whether you are a new mum, or an experienced mum, our goal at Intuition Private is to provide continuity of pregnancy care and to support you throughout your entire pregnancy journey, ensuring you and your precious bundle of joy are safe, healthy and looked after every step of the way. We have a highly skilled team of obstetricians and midwives, birthing exclusively from the newly-renovated boutique birthing suites at Gosford Private Hospital.
Post-Pregnancy Support
Up until the birth of your baby, your focus would have been on your pregnancy and ‘the big day.’ The time following your baby's birth, called the postnatal stage, is just as important. We see patients regularly up to 6-weeks post-natal and beyond if needed. These visits are for the health, recovery and wellbeing of Mum, but we love for you to bring your baby along too!
Gynaecology
As the leading Women's Health Clinic on The Central Coast, we understand that women with gynaecological concerns are looking for timely, compassionate, non-judgemental, informative and clinically-excellent care. We have significant experience and are here to help. It's our priority to have you seen as soon as possible, offering a variety of appointment options to work with your busy schedule. Patients often comment our practice looks, and presents like a Day Spa. How's that for a gynaecologic experience?!
Ultrasound
At Intuition, we offer high quality, diagnostic pregnancy ultrasound. All scans are performed by our Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Specialist, Dr Rajit Narayan. A reassuring benefit of having an MFM Doctor perform your scan is that you'll receive live feedback throughout the appointment. No more waiting for the report to go back to your doctor! Dr Narayan also performs Amniocentesis/Chorionic villus sampling (CVS) and we offer an Intuition-exclusive "First Trimester & NIPT Bundle"
