Maryam
Obstetric & Gynaecological Sonographer
Maryam is an experienced obstetric and gynaecological sonographer with a strong background in fetal medicine.
She originally trained and worked as a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology before moving to Australia in 2012. Since then, she has focused exclusively on ultrasound and is ARDMS registered (certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography), reflecting a high standard of international and local training.
Maryam has worked for several years in the Fetal Medicine Department at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney and holds postgraduate qualifications in obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound from Australian universities. She also completed a Master of Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Sydney and is currently undertaking a further Master’s degree in Obstetric and Gynaecological Ultrasound.
