His thorough knowledge and understanding, and being able to pass this information to us during the scan, is so reassuring and comforting. The best in obstetric care! I first joined intuition back in 2022 after a negative experience in the public sector. I had my 2nd baby with Dr Shah and had an amazing experience. So much so that I went back to Dr. Shah and intuition private this year to have my third baby and hi was delivered safely and without worry thanks to Dr. Shah and the midwives. Him and the amazing team of midwives took the best care of me and advocated for my needs when I had some challenging moments in the third trimester. I wouldn’t trust anyone else and would 100% return to Dr. Shah and intuition private if I have another baby (regardless of where he is delivering out of due to the private hospital closure).
Such a beautiful and welcoming space. Everyone is very friendly and genuinely interested in you. Dr Shah was incredible, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with him and his team.

Had the most amazing experience with Dr.Peta Skilbeck. It was my first baby and she made me feel comfortable my entire pregnancy informing me on everything I needed to know. She advised and gave me confidence to ask questions even if they were silly. Through labour she was very reassuring and put the health of the baby and me before anything. Advised if something needed changing and was very calm and reassuring when it came time to have a cesarean. Very kind and knowledgeable in all aspects and made me feel as though my voice was heard throughout the whole process.

Dr Skilbeck managed the pregnancy for my wife & our daughter from the initial appointment, delivery & being discharged from the hospital. The care I received at Intuition was beyond what I ever expected. From the moment I walked in, I felt so welcome and cared for. All the staff made me feel like a person, not a number. I was lucky enough to be under the care of Dr Peta Skilbeck. I was in the best hands during my pregnancy and my birth. She is such a beautiful human and just what I needed. I felt safe, respected and supported.
I had such an amazing and nurturing experience with DR Peta Skillbeck and her team of midwives and staff at intuition private. I looked forward to each appointment to the complimentary sparkling waters, the warm staff interactions and of course seeing baby on the ultrasound screen.The environment of my c-section was truely nothing I experienced before (first baby born in Sydney) with warm and friendly staff who laughed and reassured me the whole way. I loved seeing the midwives on the maternity ward who were also with me during my appointments. This was extremely reassuring as they knew me and my preferences and history. Even through my diagnosis of MS 2 weeks postpartum Peta and her team made sure I was well looked after and given the right care. I look forward to “working” with them for baby number 3.

We chose Dr Peta Skilbeck and the Intuition team back in 2021 for our pregnancy and birth of our first son. He was our rainbow baby and I think having the extra appointments/ check ins kept my anxious mind at ease throughout the journey. I knew the team were just a phone call away if I was ever concerned or worried. We loved the care we received both during the pregnancy but also through labour/ hospital and post natal that it was never even a question who we would choose for our second born in 2024. We delivered our second son in July this year - and we rave about how amazing Peta and her team are. We miss our regular appointments and highly recommend her to anyone who is considering going privately or needs a good gynaecologist.
Outstanding clinic. Very warm, friendly and respectful reception and clinical staff, especially with sensitive moments for patients. Dr Shah was excellent for the delivery of both my babies. The follow up care was also excellent. Lots of finishing touches that make the patient experience extremely comfortable.
I also liked the upfront approach on what to expect during pregnancy both costs and procedures including scans and tests. Experience was excellent for both me and my husband.
I had such an amazing experience with Dr Skilbeck! Even though I had a high risk pregnancy I never felt uneasy about anything. Both Peta and the midwives always making sure I understood everything that was happening and answering all of my questions.

I couldn't speak more highly of Intuition Private and its team. I had Dr Peta Skilbeck as my Obstetrician for the duration of my pregnancy and delivery of my first baby 2 months ago. It was such a positive and supportive experience and the quailty of care received from Peta was incomparable. We have also loved and appreciated all the supportive midwives and the reception team we had throughout our journey! They made every phone call and appointment seemless and easy. We were also lucky enough to get the pleasure of having our lovely midwife Ena present for our birth as well. Both doctor Skilbeck and Ena made it such a special experience for my husband and I. Dr Kelly was absolutely amazing an excision specialist that found and operated on endometrosis. She Also put me under the care of an amazing pelvic pysio in wyong hospital and pain management clinic in randwick womens hospital. Amazing bedside manner, listens, acts, believes and try's to find a solution. So very thankful that she performed my operation and is teaching amazing registers like Dr David Krones both were an absolute godsend. I wish she was the first gynaecologist that I went to would have shaved years off my diagnosis
Peta helped me through 2 incredibly trying pregnancies with support, information and guidance. I never felt alone and always felt like i could reach out to her. Her bedside manner is incredible, she goes above and beyond for all her patients. I felt empowered, educated and like i knew what the next steps were each and every time we spoke.
Highly recommend Dr Kelly , at 43 going through menopause was so upsetting and Dr Kelly went through every issue and gave solutions for everything and was very reassuring, I’m finally starting to feel myself again with the treatment I’m receiving!
Dr Hankins looked after me through my pregnancy. I was a high risk pregnancy and she take the time to reach out to other health professionals to ensure that me and my baby were safe during the whole experience. She has a wonderful bedside manner and puts you at ease if any complications arise.

Dr Hankins is excellent and I really appreciated the kind way she supported me during my appointments and following surgery. Dr Hankins is very knowledgeable but her approachable, understanding manner eased any anxieties I had about my health. When I needed to contact her outside of appointments, the reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Dr Hankins and Intuition Private.
Peta is an amazing O&G. She has overseen the birth of both my children.She is highly competent, skilled and clearly loves what she does. She listens to you as a patient and will do what she can to make sure you have the best experience possible in the unpredictable world of childbirth. Her staff are all aligned in this approach and are just as lovely.
Dr Shah is the most remarkable obstetrician. I’m a mum who decided to go private after a terrible experience in a Sydney public hospital with my first. Dr Shah is a professional, the leader in his field. He ensured I felt as though I could place my complete trust in him (and I could). I knew what was happening every step of the way. Having a difficult pregnancy I frequented the private hospital on many occasions. I was admitted on the majority of my visits. It was never an issue, Dr Shah only cared for the safety of my baby and myself. He also ensured that my mental stability was on track too. I recommend Dr Shah in every capacity. Words cannot express the gratitude I feel for him. If anyone is looking for an obstetrician or gynaecologist you would be in the safest hands with Dr Shah and his team of professionals. He is professional, caring and also a really cool Doctor.
I can not recommend Dr Peta Skilbeck enough!! This is my first pregnancy and must admit a bit nervous, but Dr Peta Skilbeck has totally taken the nerves away.. I feel that comfortable with her I can, and do ask every question possible (even if they are a bit random). I walk into the office and Ena (my midwife) and Dr Skilbeck make me feel like family and they always have plenty of time to answer all my questions.. I never feel rushed to get out of there.. if I'm lucky enough to have another baby I will definitely be going back to Dr Peta Skilbeck no questions asked.
