Dr Peta Skilbeck Hosts ‘Clueless’ Movie Night to Raise Funds for Cancer Council NSW
Avoca Beach – Dr Peta Skilbeck, Founder and Clinical Director of Intuition Private, swapped her scrubs for 90’s plaid last night as she hosted a close to sold-out screening of Clueless at Avoca Beach Cinema, all in support of the Cancer Council NSW’s 2025 Stars of the Central Coast fundraising campaign.
The iconic 90s movie was screened as part of Dr Skilbeck’s commitment to raising funds and awareness for cancer support services and research. Guests were invited to dress up in their best Cher Horowitz-inspired outfits and enjoy a nostalgic night of fashion, fun, and philanthropy.
The event was a standout success, contributing to Dr Skilbeck’s impressive fundraising tally of over $17,000, with several weeks still to go until the finale night.
The Stars of the Central Coast event will culminate in a live dance competition on Friday 13 June at Laycock Street Theatre, where Dr Skilbeck will perform a Broadway-inspired routine alongside local events personality Emma Callaghan from JC Entertainment & Events.
The movie night fundraiser is just one of many creative events being hosted by this year’s Stars participants as they compete in both fundraising impact and dance-floor flair. All funds raised support Cancer Council NSW in delivering critical services across prevention, research, and patient support.
Dr Skilbeck’s participation is proudly sponsored by Intuition Private, reflecting the clinic’s strong commitment to advocating for women’s health and supporting the wider Central Coast community.
