Dr Sarika Gupta

Sarika completed rigorous sub-specialist ultrasound training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, as well as The Royal Women’s Hospital and Monash Hospitals in Melbourne. She has developed specific expertise in advanced gynaecological imaging, including the detailed assessment of complex pelvic pain and deep infiltrating endometriosis.

To further refine her skills, Sarika undertook advanced international training in fetal neurosonography at Necker Hospital and Hospital Trousseau in Paris under Professors Yves Ville, Laurent Solomon and Catherine Garel. She also trained at Gemelli Hospital in Rome with Professor Antonia Testa, becoming proficient in IOTA-ADNEX modelling to assist with the characterisation of ovarian masses and pre-surgical planning.

At Intuition, Sarika will be leading our DIE ultrasound service, providing high-level imaging that supports earlier diagnosis, clearer surgical planning and more targeted treatment pathways for women living with suspected or confirmed endometriosis. Our reporting is detailed, clinically meaningful and designed to help referring doctors make confident, informed decisions.

Sarika is also a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, bringing a strong clinical lens to her ultrasound work. This dual expertise ensures imaging is not just technically precise, but directly relevant to patient care.

She holds a PhD focused on improving access to reproductive healthcare in disadvantaged communities, with research that has strengthened postpartum contraception access in Papua New Guinea.

Outside of work, Sarika is passionate about women’s health advocacy through creative exhibitions and enjoys ocean swimming and time with family, friends and her labrador, Luna.
