Intuition Private Expands Women’s Imaging Services with Appointment of DIE Scan Specialist Dr Sarika Gupta
Gosford, NSW – Intuition Private has announced the appointment of Dr Sarika Gupta, a highly trained sonologist and Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, as part of a strategic expansion into advanced women’s imaging services on the Central Coast.
Dr Gupta will lead the clinic’s Deep Infiltrating Endometriosis (DIE) ultrasound service, significantly strengthening local access to expert-level diagnostic imaging for women experiencing complex pelvic pain and suspected endometriosis.
Deep Infiltrating Endometriosis is a severe form of endometriosis where disease penetrates deeply into pelvic structures. Accurate imaging is critical to guide surgical planning, fertility care and long-term management. Until recently, many Central Coast women have had to travel to Sydney to access this level of subspecialist ultrasound assessment.
Dr Gupta completed rigorous sub-specialist training in diagnostic ultrasound at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, The Royal Women’s Hospital and Monash Hospitals in Melbourne. She has also undertaken advanced international training in fetal neurosonography in Paris and specialised pelvic imaging training in Rome, refining her expertise in complex gynaecological imaging and pre-surgical planning.
At Intuition Private, her primary focus will be delivering high-quality DIE scans and advanced gynaecological imaging with detailed, clinically meaningful reporting designed to support referring GPs and specialists in making informed management decisions.
Dr Peta Skilbeck, Clinical Director of Intuition Private, said the appointment represents an important step forward for women’s health services on the Central Coast.

The expansion of DIE scanning forms part of Intuition Private’s wider growth strategy, which includes strengthening its Women’s Imaging division and increasing local access to specialist services traditionally only available in metropolitan centres.
Dr Gupta’s appointments will commence in early 2026, with capacity initially for approximately 15–20 DIE scans per month, expanding based on demand.
