Dr Mishra is an experienced paediatrician assisting with behavioural challenges in children. Understanding that these issues are a common concern for many Australian families, he offers compassionate support and comprehensive evaluations tailored to each child’s unique needs.
With a focus on conditions such as Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), social-emotional difficulties, and behavioural and emotional disorders, Dr Mishra provides effective management strategies to help children thrive both at home and in social settings.
He is committed to assisting families facing challenges with attention, impulse control, communication, and emotional regulation. Additionally, Dr Mishra offers guidance for children experiencing feeding difficulties, ensuring mealtimes become easier and more enjoyable.
With a holistic approach, Dr Mishra aims to empower children and their families, helping them navigate the complexities of behavioural health and fostering resilience and well-being.
Also with a particular focus on newborn growth, development and long-term outcomes, Dr Mishra is accredited to perform Bayley’s Developmental Assessment, a valuable tool for early identification and intervention of developmental concerns. His extensive training includes experience at some of Australia’s leading hospitals, such as Sydney Children’s Hospital, The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Westmead Hospital, the Royal Hospital for Women, the Royal Women’s Hospital and the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne.
Currently, Dr Mishra is pursuing a PhD at the University of Sydney, where he is focusing on optimising neonatal care practices to enhance newborn outcomes. His passion for holistic well-being extends beyond medicine; he is a trained mindfulness teacher and actively engages in global charitable initiatives, including those in Australia.
Outside of his medical career, Dr Mishra enjoys listening to music, practising mindfulness and spending quality time with his family. He is fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi and Bengali, which allows him to provide culturally sensitive and inclusive care for families from diverse backgrounds.
