At Intuition Private, we believe it's a privilege to partner with you in caring for your patient's needs when it comes to all things obstetric, gynaecologic, imaging and fertility.
If your patient’s priority is to obtain the soonest available appointment, please address the referral to Intuition Private, or Dear Doctor.
This way we can efficiently triage your patient’s referral and ensure they are seen in a timely manner. We happily accommodate all urgent referrals for same day or same week, please highlight this when sending. We accept referrals via Secure Messaging, Email and Fax.
Once we receive the referral, our support team will assist your patient with making an appointment. Please advise your patient if they have not heard from us within 3 business after their referral has been sent over, to call the practice on 02 4321 0500.
We work hard to understand the requirements of our referrers and to exceed your expectations. We’ll keep you informed at all stages of your patient’s journey.
You can expect professional and expert care, accurate diagnosis, and comprehensive management of Women’s Health related medical conditions.
We have included some common questions for General Practitioners and other Valued Referrers, as well as downloadable resources such as brochures and service information for your reading.
Sometimes, we know all you need is a little advice! Dr Shah, our full-time, senior O&G happily provides free and confidential telephone support to our valued referrers regarding their own patient’s conditions/treatment options (even if they are not a patient with us). Please phone us on 4321 0500; our team will have him call you back, usually within the hour. For a speedy reply, if you can leave your direct contact number, he’ll be able to reach you in-person rather than calling back via your rooms.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, absolutely. If you would like your patient to see a specific doctor(s) at Intuition Private, please address your referral by name. We also accept referrals Australia-wide, so long as it is addressed to an O&G Specialist. If it is your patient’s priority to be seen as soon as possible, please address your referral to @Intuition Private or Dear Doctor.
Please highlight the urgency on your referral, or call us on 02 4321 0500 so we can accommodate your urgent referral request as soon as possible. At Intuition Private, we will ensure all urgent patient matters are seen to as a priority and can offer same day, or same week appointments.

Yes Dr Manning and Dr Hankins’ patients can be consented at our private practice to have surgery at Gosford Public Hospital, if this is their preference.
Consulting privately often benefits the patient to minimise the wait time currently experienced at Gosford Public Hospital for their initial assessment and triage.
Please note, upon submission of the Consent for Surgery Form to Gosford Public Hospital, your patient will be placed on the public waiting list in accordance with the appropriate recommended time frame as advised by the doctor. Dr Manning or Dr Hankins may perform the surgery for the patient, however due to operational matters and length of waitlists through the public health system, this is not always possible and therefore not guaranteed.
Please note: Dr Skilbeck, Dr Shah and Dr Mandapati operate exclusively from Gosford Private Hospital, however they can refer your patient directly to Gosford Public Hospital for consultation, should you patient require surgery on the public hospital waiting list also.
