Since the news of the closure of Gosford Private Hospital’s Maternity Services, we’ve been reflecting on all the families we’ve cared for and why they seek out the Intuition difference.
Our beautiful patient Adriana and her partner Duncan, chose to partner with Dr Skilbeck for their pregnancy and birth care.
After a few bumpy weeks of hospital visits, admissions and ultrasound scans with Dr Narayan, baby Rafael was born at 36+1 weeks via Caesarean section, weighing in at a tiny 1.7kg.
This is him in the Special Care Nursery enjoying some kangaroo care. The family was supported during their birth by midwife Tiani Puc, in the nursery by Sarah Menser, all under the experienced eyes of paediatrician, Dr Chinta.
