Dr Peta Skilbeck steps up to dance for cancer in 2025 Stars of the Central Coast
February 2025 – Gosford, NSW – Intuition Private is proud to announce that Dr Peta Skilbeck, Founder and Clinical Director of Intuition Private, will be stepping onto the dance floor as a participant in the 2025 Stars of the Central Coast dancing and fundraising competition, supporting the Cancer Council.
As an experienced gynaecologist, Dr Skilbeck has treated many patients facing a cancer diagnosis, making this cause deeply personal.
Through her work at Intuition Private, she has seen first-hand the challenges that women experience after cancer treatment and is passionate about raising awareness and funds to support vital cancer research, prevention, and patient support services.
“Cancer affects so many lives, and as a gynaecologist, I see the impact it has on my patients, their families, and their futures,” said Dr Skilbeck.
“Raising money for cancer research is incredibly important to me, and while I’m definitely stepping out of my comfort zone by dancing, I’m doing it to help make a real difference.”
Dr Skilbeck will be dancing in the style of Broadway with local events personality, Emma Callaghan from JC Entertainment & Events.
Peta will be competing against other stars of the Coast, both in fundraising efforts as well as dancing prowess at the finale night at Laycock Street Theatre on Friday, 13 June 2025.
Dr Skilbeck’s participation is proudly sponsored by Intuition Private, reflecting the organisation’s ongoing commitment to supporting women’s health and making a meaningful contribution to the broader community.
“At Intuition Private, we believe in advocating for the health and well-being of women at all stages of life, and we are incredibly proud to support Dr Skilbeck in her fundraising efforts for the Cancer Council,” said Intuition Private Business Manager, Karina Wright.
The 2025 Stars of the Central Coast event will bring together local business and community leaders to compete in a fun and inspiring dance competition, all in the name of raising vital funds for cancer research and support services.
