Originally from the sunny Central Coast Cat graduated as a Physiotherapist from Sydney University in 2003. Gaining experience over the following years at Gosford Public Hospital as well as private practices from Sydney to Darwin and the UK. Her interest in Women's Health Physiotherapy began during her Pilates training and experience working in a Physio Pilates studio in Randwick for 4 years. Pelvic floor muscle training is an integral part of core stabilisatioin and the Pilates method though proved more complex than she'd imagined! Cat went on to complete a Post Graduate Certificate in Advance Pelvic Floor training at the University of Melbourne as well as a subject in Exercise for Women to further her practice in the area. This has gave Cat the depth of knowledge to enter Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy to manage a range of pelvic floor disorders and musckolskeletal conditions relating to pregnancy such as pelvic girdle pain and separation of the abdominal muscles.
Cat's passion for women's health physiotherapy has only strengthened in the last 4 years through having 2 gorgeous boys of her own. She's deeply committed to empowering women to lead their own journey by teaching women about their body and the changes that occur during pregnancy, post partum and other life stages. Cat understands exercise is a huge part of our lives and contributes to our physical and mental health so her goal is to help women maintain or regain strength to get back to what they love and educate on pelvic floor safe exercise! She also teaches pregnancy and post natal classes to help you on your journey!
Cat loves living on the Central Coast and enjoying what nature has to offer like our stunning beaches, waterways and national parks and can often be found chasing her two energetic boys around!!
